Everything We’re Thankful
for this October

Fall is firmly here, family gatherings are back, and we’re getting cozy with our favourite Manulife Centre finds. We’re thankful for a lot of things this Fall, but mostly we are grateful for our amazing retailers – new and old – who have continued to bring you incredible shopping experiences – in-person, online, or via curbside pickup. New to Manulife Centre? Get to know our retailers below and pay a visit to Manulife Centre where you can share your gratitude for their amazing service, inspiring finds, and stellar experiences.

Scaccia Italian Restaurant

When it was comfort food we needed, Scaccia stepped up to the plate with their classic Italian dishes available for pick up and delivery. They also transformed their space this year with a brand new dining room and marketplace filled with Italian goodies and homemade sauces.

Bay Bloor Radio

Speaking of transformation, Bay Bloor Radio underwent a massive transformation this year after 75 years in business (and 40 of those at Manulife Centre). Their reno is still in progress, but you can still find the right sound at the right price here at Bay and Bloor.

Pistil Flowers

Pistil Flowers hasn’t yet opened their doors (stay tuned!), but we’re so happy to have them here. We can’t wait for their stunning floral arrangements and DIY workshops to brighten every day at Manulife Centre.

Bonny and Decatarina

Can you think of a more reliable store? From the perfect everyday backpack or handbag to tough as nails luggage that will be the perfect companion on all your adventures, Bonny Satchels & Duffles and Decatarina Leather have you covered.

Independent CityMarket

Another one of our essential retailers, Independent CityMarket stepped up to the plate to serve the community safely and we couldn’t be more thankful. And through it all they still brought us unique local and international products, spicing up our everyday meals.

The Wicket

The Wicket reopened earlier this year after a short absence in the midst of our redevelopment. We’re thrilled to have our local post office back in action, making it even easier to connect with loved ones from afar.

GNC and their expert staff have been keeping us healthy for years, and we’re thankful for that continued service during uncertain times. Whether you need supplements or a pre-workout protein boost, GNC has you covered.

Parkers Custom Clothing Care

While we’ve mostly been wearing sweatpants for the last year, we are thankful that Parkers Custom Clothing Care is here to help us look our best as special occasions and events return.

Street Level

Over the Rainbow

Whether they’re keeping us looking cool in the perfect denim jeans or keeping us cosy in stylish loungewear, Over the Rainbow has been bringing their signature style to Yorkville for more than 40 years. We’re so glad they chose Manulife Centre as their new home.

Eataly has brought 3 floors of deliciousness to Bay and Bloor and has been serving up incredible grocery items and heat-and-eat items to keep us fed and satisfied when dining out wasn’t an option. We’re so thankful to be able to experience their 5 restaurants, 10 prepared food counters, countless fresh market stalls and more now that we have returned to indoor dining (with proof of immunization status, of course).

Haartek Salon

We speak for everyone when we say we are thankful that Haartek is open again after a challenging year and that we can say goodbye to at-home haircuts and box dyes! They have even been open 7 days a week to make sure that everyone who needs it can get an appointment – talk about dedication to your customers!

Canada’s favourite books and more store has had a home at Manulife Centre for years and has been a go-to spot for browsing the latest on the literary scene, but in more recent years has become a lifestyle haven. Indigo’s refurbished store is a browser’s paradise, and while their online shopping and curbside pickup is a breeze, we are so glad we can peruse the stacks once again.

Ron White Shoes

If you want to talk about the intersection of style and quality, Ron White Shoes is where it’s at. Their fantastic collection of men’s and women’s footwear (all made in Italy with the finest materials) is made with such care that you’ll eventually want all of your shoes to be Ron White Shoes.

Pilot Coffee Roasters

Pilot Coffee is a bright spot in our mornings (and afternoons), with their amazing, locally-roasted coffee, their snacks and light lunches, as well as their roster of quality products for your at-home coffee brewing set-up. Whether you like it hot, iced or cold-brewed, Pilot’s got you covered.

Petra Karthaus

If you’re looking for European women’s fashion and attentive service, Petra Karthaus is the place to go. No matter what you will always leave this boutique feeling fabulous – whether from the clothes you bought or the experience you had while shopping there.

Nirvana Home Collection

If you, like so many Torontonians, live in a small space, Nirvana Home Collection should be your go-to for furnishing your space. Their condo-friendly collection can be ordered in many colours to suit every style. Also, their quality selection of bedding will be keeping us cozy all Fall long.

Second Level

The One Eighty

Awesome food, stellar cocktails and excellent vibes will be found at The One Eighty, but if you’re looking for incredible views there’s no better place. Their restaurant and patio on the 51st Floor is the perfect place to celebrate a special occasion or even just a Friday night with an incredible backdrop of the city we all love.

GoodLife Fitness

Working out at home is great for some, but for many being  gym is key to maintaining healthy routines. Their expert staff, quality equipment and group fitness classes all combine to make GoodLife at Manulife an essential part of our daily routine, and we are so thankful they’re open again to serve the community.

Cineplex Varsity Cinemas

If it’s entertainment you need, entertainment you’ll get at Cineplex Varsity & VIP. While we were thrilled to be able to make a memorable at-home movie nights with takeout from their refreshments stand, we’re excited to be able to take in a film in a theatre again.

With all that to be thankful for at Manulife Centre, it’s definitely worth a visit. Be sure to come check it out for yourself and enjoy a day at Bay and Bloor.
