Get Revved up at Manulife this Father’s Day

A recent Canadian poll shows that 80% of Canadian dads simply want “quality time with their families” on Father’s Day. So instead of tired ties, more cologne or another Blue Jays cap, show him real quality at the 7th annual Yorkville Exotic Car Show.

Walk along the actual red carpet from 12pm–5pm on Bloor Street West Sunday June 18th between Avenue Road and Bay Street, and get up close and personal with the hottest automotive designs from around the globe. This free festival hosts over 120 exotic cars from the likes of Ferrari, Porsche and Lamborghini, as well as classic Mustangs, Beemers, ‘Vettes and more.

With proceeds from the event funding Prostate Cancer Canada’s research, any donation you make, a loonie or toonie, goes straight to a relevant and worthwhile cause! So grab a beer on a patio nearby and jam out to local musical acts while you bask in the shiny glint of the newest 2017 Corvette. Or, a mint vintage Aston Martin if you’re partial to the bond aesthetic like we are.

Driving down?

Park at Manulife Centre (free for 2 hours with a $25 purchase at Manulife Centre), grab yourself a FREE SNOW CONE from 1pm–4pm in the main entrance atrium off Bloor Street, then head across the road.

We’re sponsoring the event again, and stepping it up with a $500 gift card giveaway to Bay Bloor Radio. They’re closed Sundays but you can do a little window shopping before you go over on concourse level AND Level 1 by the Charles Street exit. Then come back another day to check out BBR’s Canada Day 150 sale and the perfect game night speakers, just in time for CFL kickoff on June 22.

Keep the adrenaline pumping.

For some fast-paced action after the show, look no further than The Mummy starring Tom Cruise or the new Pirates of the Caribbean movie –both playing at The Varsity up on the second floor by the back escalators.

Wishing you a happy Father’s Day and even happier dream-car hunting.
